Research direction:

The lab focuses on organics, studying the reaction process in atmosphere. Research interests include the chemical composition, source apportionment, particle formation, gas-solid distribution, hygroscopic ability and optical characteristics of organic aerosol.

Achievements:

The lab conducted a number of systemic researches on aerosol in urban, ocean, and high altitude atmosphere to study the special change, composition, sources and the transitional process. The study results revealed the special distribution and sources of Chinese organic aerosol. Moreover, the lab also launched research projects on isotope of secondary organic aerosol. Through the project, our researchers found that there is an proportional linear correlation betweenδ13C and the aging scale of aerosol.
