Research direction:

Ions lab mainly focuses on studying the physical and chemical characteristics, the special distribution, and the transition and the sources of inorganic water-soluble aerosol to understand its effects on climate change and environment therefore to provide scientific support to atmosphere improvement.

Research activities:

The major research activities are based on Ions Chromatography System to analyze aerosol samples, rainfall samples and deposition samples. The detectable ions include F-, Cl-, NO2-, Br-, NO3-, PO43-, SO42-; Na+, NH4+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+. Meanwhile, it also can be used to detect Formic, Oxalic, Malonic, Succinic, Glutaric, Meso-Erythritol, Xylitol, Levoglucosan, D-Arabitol, D-Sorbitol, D-Mannitol, D-Glucose.

Services:

We provide sample analyzing service including aerosol samples, rainfall samples, deposition samples, dust samples and earth samples.

Achievements:

We published a number of papers in Atmospheric Research》,《Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association》,《 Journal of Geophysical Research》,《 Atmospheric Environment 》,《 Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics
