男,1971.2生,博士,中国科学院地球环境研究所研究员,基金委杰出青年基金获得者(2016年),黄土与第四纪国家重点实验室副主任。曾于2008年9月-2009年9月在美国NASA GISS研究中心和美国哥伦比亚大学(Columbia University)Lamont地球观测中心做访问学者,2008年5-8月和2013年6-9月分别在香港理工大学和哥伦比亚大学Lamont地球观测中心短暂访问。现任职美国Columbia University(哥伦比亚大学)Adjunct Senior Research Scientist(客座资深研究员)、西安交通大学双聘教授、GEIA(国际排放清单联合会)中国工作组委员、中国颗粒学会青年理事等。
主要研究兴趣在气溶胶、沉积物、全球气候与环境变化方面,尤其关注黑碳及其与气候变化之间关系。在国际上首次提出并从测量方法上区分了两种不同类型的黑碳-焦炭和烟炱,明确二者不同理化和光学性质;将该方法从气溶胶扩展应用到土壤、沉积物黑碳测量中,获国际同行广泛引用,国际卫生组织(WHO)报告全文引用我们的焦炭与烟炱定义。进一步在古火研究中提出并建立区分明燃和闷烧的方法,为建立古火研究与现代火观测及其排放之间的联系提供手段,并提出和论证了通过沉积物重建大气烟炱历史,为其长期历史重建提供了新方法。
在自然火历史研究中提出区分明燃和焖烧的方法,并应用在古火研究中,使得自然火与气候变化关系更加明晰。
2006年以来,已在Environ. Sci. Tech., Global Biogeochem. Cycle., Atmos. Chem. Phys., Sci. Rep., Chemosphere, Atmos. Environ.,(以上为第一作者,下面为合作者)、Nature、QSR、JGR等地学主流期刊发表SCI论文70余篇,其中第一作者SCI论文21篇,另有英文专著章节2篇(第一作者1篇),被SCI引用(数据来源ISI)2800余次,其中第一作者单篇最高被SCI引用500余次。第一作者论文入选Elsevier颁发的2005-2010年度环境科学领域高引用中国作者论文。
主持(和曾主持)科技部政府间国际科技创新合作重点专项(属国家重大研发计划)、科技部科技支撑计划(属国家重大研发计划)、基金委杰出青年基金、国家自然科学基金国际(地区)合作与交流项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目(3项)、中科院重点部署项目、全球变化专项子课题、973国家重点研究发展计划项目子课题、科学院战略性先导科技专项子课题、中国科学院青年人才类重要方向性项目、中科院“西部之光”等。
曾获中科院王宽诚西部学者突出贡献奖、中国气溶胶青年科学家奖、中科院优秀博士论文奖及全国优秀博士论文提名奖等。
