‘Aging and Optical Properties of Widespread Soot Particles over East Asia’ bilateral seminar between China and Japan was held in Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy and Sciences (IEECAS) on 5th November 2013. Over 40 students and experts from Prefectural University of Kumamoto, IEECAS and Xi'an Jiaotong University attended the seminar and 18 post-PHD, PHD and Post-graduates presented their research and results. All the attendees engaged in commenting process and discussed the hot topics in aerosol science. In the seminar, both sides expressed the willingness to offer more in-depth discussion and communication for students.
