To summarize the latest achievements in aerosol research field, enhance the aerosol research ability and foster the communication cross strait, the 12th National Aerosol Conference and the 13th Cross Strait Workshop for Aerosol Science & Technology will be held from 22th October 2015 to 25th October 2015 in Chongqing City.

The conference is held by Chinese Association of Aerosol Science & Technology together with Taiwan Association for Aerosol Research. The organizers are Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEECAS) and Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The co-organizers include: Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Society of Particuology, Air & Waste Management Association, China Chapter and Beijing Society for Powder Technology.

Professor Junji Cao from IEECAS and Professor Zhongxin Yuan from National Sun Yat-Sen University will be the Co-Chairs of this conference.

The conference will have more than 400 attendees. The detailed contains are as follows:

23th and 24th October 2015: Plenary session and concurrent sessions

25th October 2015: Field trip to Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

3.      Plenary reports and short courses

A number of guest experts and scholars are invited to give a speech, and the short courses for PM2.5  and carbonaceous aerosol including: Academician Shu Tao from Peking University, Prof. Andre Prevot from Switzerland, Prof. Chak Chan from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Judith Chow from Desert Research Institute, Prof. Wenzhi Li from National Cheng Kung University, Prof. Daizhou Zhang from Prefectural University of Kumamoto.Prof. Judith Chow and Prof. Zhiwei Han from Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences are invited to give a short course on PM2.5.

5th June 2015: second round notification released and submission of papers

30th August 2015: deadline of the submission

10th September 2015: deadline of registration for the conference

5.      Fees 

The price is 1800RMB for delegates from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan; 1000RMB for student delegates. Registration fee is including conference materials, meeting fee and meal fee during the meeting. Hotel expense is not including in this. Registration fee of short courses is 500RMB per person, A&WMA member is 300RMB per person, training material fee is included. (The registration fee of A&WMA membership is 160RMB per person, and the sheet which attached in this document as appendix 4 is needed to be completed and sent to conf@ieecas.cn to register) The fee can be remitted directly to the account of Aerosol Committee of Chinese Society of Particuology.
