In the morning of May 6, 2014 10:00 in the earth's Environmental Research Institute of the fourth phase of the TSI aerosol forum held. Forum invited to the famous California Institute of Technology professor C. Flagan Richard to participate, he did the title as "to Quantify Measurements Health Effects of Particulate Pollution" wonderful report.

Since people are more and more aware of the influence of fine particles on the environment and health, the research on the particulate matter has been gradually inclined to fine particles especially for PM2.5 since 1970s. Professor Flagan first on the international advanced particulate matter monitoring, analysis methods to do a detailed introduction, and then cited the field monitoring, box simulation example. Report information rich, informative, so that teachers and students benefit from the future, how to carry out and strengthen the atmospheric particulate matter pollution and human health impact research has a great help. Professor Flagan also pointed out that the integration of various monitoring and measurement techniques is the development trend of particulate matter monitoring in the future. At the end of the report, Wang Gehui, a researcher at the chair, was a heated discussion. Professor Flagan then visited the dust and environmental research room, and said there are many opportunities for cooperation.
