IEE-TSI-PTL joint laboratory was established and the first phase of the TSI aerosol forum held in the Chinese Academy of Sciences

    To promote the transformation of aerosol basic theoretical study and technical application, to improve the level of research and development and application of the aerosol, aerosol pollution problems to cope with the increasingly serious and complex, especially PM2.5 pollution measurement and governance. Through various efforts, September 28, 2013, Chinese Academy of Sciences, earth and environmental research (IEE), the TSI and the University of Minnesota Particle Technology Laboratory (PTL) in geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences environmental research established joint IEE-TSI-PTL aerosol Laboratory (JLITP).

The United States University of Minnesota Particle Technology Laboratory (PTL) is a world famous research center of aerosol particles. Aerosol Key Laboratory of geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences environmental research in the field of aerosol has 25 years of history, in the field of dust and carbon aerosols have profound accumulation of science and to achieve a high level of achievement. Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of earth environment, director Cao Jun Ji researcher, TSI (China General Manager Wang Taihong and PTL laboratory director David Pui Professor together for the laboratory opening, and the establishment of laboratories of background, significance, positioning and development goals are recounted. TSI company and the domestic research institutions, the formal establishment of the first joint laboratory is JLITP joint laboratory, to build a high level of aerosol output, research and development of advanced aerosol technology and high-level personnel training exchange platform for a long time and the center of the base, as soon as possible in order to promote China Gas sol of rapid development and progress.
